Tekserve recently launched their new blog, which I designed this past fall. The entire site is soon moving over to the new design, but for now the blog is the first to go live. It's big and bold, and is built from the ground up with sharing in mind. I wanted to incorporate their colors and strong graphics in a way that was powerful but didn't overwhelm the fantastic content.
The home page is very media driven; showing a number of stories, great shots of Tekserve employees, and a slider at the top highlighting their top reads. The archive pages are simple, but also bold as well, making strong use of their colors, and encouraging user interaction via subscribing, commenting, and sharing.
Chad, over at Tekserve did a brilliant job of making the theme responsive, so no matter what device you're on, the site holds up beautifully. I'm looking forward to hearing user feedback as we continue to tighten, tweak, and make improvements the site overall.
