Tekserve’s FAQ Book: a business publishing example

Tekserve’s Mac and iOS FAQ books are great examples of an organization using publishing to establish a leadership position. They’ve been producing the books for years as giveaways, but at our suggestions they’ve brought them into the store, put a dollar value on them, and made them available digitally as well. The book is a must have guide for any mac or iPhone/iPad user, and is full of useful tips and general knowhow. They could have simply posted the information on their website or emailed out the tips on an ongoing basis. But a printed book has more weight, more authority, and in the end a much wider reach. I designed the covers for the print versions of this years books and walked them through the publishing options from Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing Program to iPad and Nook books.
