Web Design
When I first started making websites I coded them by hand in HTML and CSS, often in a text editor like BBEdit. And I liked it. I enjoyed seeing my code visualized on a page, and I enjoyed creating new things over and over again.
I mostly do front end design now, although I dig into WordPress on a pretty regular basis. While design trends have changed over the years, the goal of creating a simple, compelling, and easy to navigate site has stayed the same. A good web page is useful, easy to use, and compelling. No matter what the technology behind it is, all of those things need to be there.
