Last week I published my fourth book under Ben Goodwin, and it's a novel (literary/contemporary fiction) I've been working on for a long time. I'm proud of it, and looking forward to seeing where it goes.

It follows Alice, who is forty, married, and a painter, from New York to the midwest when her husband gets a teaching position. Born with a rare genetic condition which halted her physical aging around thirteen, she's been on the receiving end of perverts and pedophiles for most of her life.

But now, in the midwest, Alice takes the opportunity to reinvent herself with consequences which are both devastating and glorious.
